CUSTOM CAKES

Here at Mrs Brown's Buns, we pride ourselves on creating the perfect custom cake for any special occasion. In order to create these bespoke bakes, we use the freshest of ingredients and each cake is baked from scratch every single time. Every cake is fresh baked to order, meaning you can enjoy your cake longer at home by popping it in your freezer (if it lasts that long!)

WHERE WE STARTED

I originally started baking as a coping mechanism, and it was a way to both lose myself and find myself again. In 2014, my husband and I lost our first daughter during labour and this has shaped my business to where we are today (you can read more in one of our Blog posts). In July 2016, I graduated with a 2:1 in  BA (Hons) Hospitality Management from Edinburgh Napier University. My specialisation was in Customer Service and Customer Experience. My passion for exceptional customer service, mixed with my love of baking and decorating was the birth of Mrs Brown's Buns.

WHO ARE WE?

When I say 'We', I use the term very loosely. At the moment, I am a one woman band - baker, decorator, washer-upper, and full time worrier. Although, contrary to belief, behind these cakes, is a very down to earth wife, mother, best friend and all round cake lover. I currently work from home, and I love the flexibility it gives me (which is definitely needed with two young daughters in the mix).
